Se ha tenido un especial cuidado para replicar los empaques originales, y esta primera entrega, remasterizada por James Guthrie, Joel Plante y Bernie Grundman se hará en vinyl de 180 gramos para una óptima calidad de sonido. Ummagumma de 1969 fue el primer álbum doble del grupo y tiene una de las portadas icónicas en la discografía de pink floyd. En el disco 1 podemos apreciar uno de los conciertos que tocaban en esos tiempos. El disco 2 es en estudio, con composiciones e interpretaciones propias de cada miembro de la banda. En el disco en vivo destacan careful with that axe, eugene y set the controls for the heart of the sun, mientras que así lo hacen los temas en estudio: grantchester meadows y the narrow way.
